About

When I married my wife, I likened the experience to stepping into a whole new world together. Our wedding was the gateway to that world.

I’m a sensitive and empathic listener, and a passionate orator. I’m a lover of people, and I’m genuinely interested in contributing to the happiness and wellbeing of others. At age 33, I left the world of Marketing and returned to university to study Psychology. I am now completing my Masters in Psychology, and I have found great meaning in working with people navigating the complexities of their life.

I officiate marriages under the Civil Union Act. There is no legal difference between being married under the Marriage Act and the Civil Union Act, however the Marriage Act is an exclusionary piece of legislation that does not allow for same-sex couples to marry. As a personal commitment to the principles of equality and social justice, I cannot in good conscience marry people under this act.
